Multilayer Gasket

Multilayer Corrugated gaskets are universally applicable sealing elements. Multilayer corrugated gasket consists of a corrugated metallic insert encapsulated by a graphite coating. Due to the wide range of shapes that they can be produced in – including rings, ovals, elongated ovals or frames, with or without dividers, holes and retaining rings. It has been designed to seal on low load applications.
A robust and easy to handle gasket, the corrugations in the insert develop high stress areas to produce a gasket with excellent gas-tightness at low bolt loads. Excellent chemical resistance, fire safe and takes up to 650°C. The insert are available in different materials like SS304 and SS316 and gaskets can be produced in all the usual sizes up to 3000mm as per requirement.
